A fluidization bed is a process in which a solid material is suspended and agitated by an upward flow of gas. This technique is widely used in the chemical and petrochemical industries for various purposes, such as catalytic cracking, drying, and gasification. The fluidization bed consists of a container or vessel that holds the solid material to be fluidized. A gas, usually air, is then blown into the container from the bottom at a high velocity. The gas flow creates a fluid-like motion of the solid particles, causing them to behave like a liquid.
